Windmill Aerator

Let Mother Nature help aerate, circulate and destratify your pond. Our windmill is an ideal way to supplement oxygen levels and improve the overall health of a pond. Ideal for areas needing aeration without electricity nearby. Windmills can be located hundreds of feet from the pond's edge, if necessary, to catch more wind.

Made from heavy-duty galvanized steel will last for many  years.  Only requires 5 mph of wind to operate, slows itself at 28 mph, 64" diameter head with 12 blades.  Pump 1.5 CFM of air, 3.5 CFM Units Available.  No annual maintenance except diaphragm replacement as needed (usually 3-4 years).  Will pay for itself several times over in saved electricity costs.

Price includes windmill tower, head, tail, 100' of airline and a membrane diffuser. If you have a tower or wish to build your own, you can purchase it with everything except the tower. 12',16',20' available. We will match local advertised pricing.

Bubblemaster Aerators
Through years of field work we feel that we offer the best bottom bubbler aerator on the market. We use a high volume air pump and a flexible membrane diffuser. Aeration systems are measured by CFM  and matched to the proper size diffuser. We use a 10" diffuser which is sized for the amount of air that the pump puts out. A larger diffuser will not increase the amount of air that the pump puts out. Typically the bigger the diffuser the faster it will wear out.  To increase aeration it is best to add diffusers and spread them out over a larger area in the water. Our units have a substrate disc. It sets below the diffuser on the pond bottom. This greatly reduces the amount of muck that will be disturbed. We recommend that if you  use a bottom bubbler aeration system make certain it has a substrate barrier.  Our system puts air in the water, not water in the air. This significantly reduces aeration costs over fountain type aerators. Benefits include minimal maintenance and no annual removal. Also there are no electric lines in the water that could be susceptible to muskrat damage.  These units feature a Gast 1/4 H.P. rotary vane pump, 110/220 volt. This puts out 4.5 cubic feet of air per minute (CFM), a weighted membrane diffuser  assembly (see picture below), substrate disc, 100' of airhose, pressure relief valve, pressure gauge, air filter, and a timer. These are ready to use packages, you only need to supply weights (1 brick/6') to sink the airhose or use kink free self weighted airline available for $1.50/ foot. Installation is available. Rubber Membrane Diffuser
The high oxygen transfer combined with self cleaning action make this diffuser ideal for intermittent or continuous aeration .The advanced design prevents clogging and provides uniform size bubbles that rise, replenishing oxygen. Benefits include: built in check valve, long range durability, self cleaning action, and easy installation. We offer these units in a 10", 14" and a 20". We developed the self weighted assembly  which makes installation very simple. The  attached substrate disc reduces the amount of muck and debris that could be stirred up. We recommend the use of the 10 " size due to its design and low failure rate. If you use a larger pump or are looking for more aeration, multiple diffusers are the best option. These diffusers are commonly used in waste water treatment and are built to handle tough aeration jobs. We have sold thousand of these diffusers and not had a failure!  Some units have been in use for 10 years. We guarantee that you will like its performance.

These plastic covers are difficult to tell from the real thing. They look just like a rock while keeping your air pump dry and out of the weather. If you don't have a building close to the pond to put your aerator pump in then you will want one of these.
